Bought for a long list of targeted LED pixel projects. I would not recommend these pigtails for anything with significant current draw. If I had known the center conductor was 22AWG I would not have bought them. They work well for a short length of LED strip, maybe a meter. But with a strip of 300 LEDs, 5m long that I used at 3A, the pigtail got very hot. I confirmed with an infrared thermometer that the pigtail was >100F in a 68F room. Definitely not sure. I had to turn the brightness down to around 1A at 12V to feel safe. The tape is rated at 6A, so I can only drive the LEDs at 1/6 the power (12W vs. 72W). Big difference. I have now ordered new 18AWG inner conductor pigtails which I expect to use in the future.
