My 5 year old daughter loves her bike basket. Her bike is mostly light pink with purple accents, and the basket goes really well with the color scheme. Given the basket's many colors (red, light blue, yellow, pink, purple and white) there's a good chance it will match your daughter's bike too. If you have an older daughter with a big bike, this basket might be a bit small. But for us it fits perfectly! Six months later, the LEDs are still blinking. Although activated by movement, they require a significant amount of movement to start and keep moving. They blink for about three seconds before requiring another "movement" to turn back on. When driving on a slippery surface, the headlights blink unreliably. If they had driven over rougher terrain, I'm sure they would have flashed regularly. Perhaps they should be called "rebound activated" rather than "motion activated". The plastic basket seems a little flimsy but works well. We had no problem keeping him on the bike. It installs easily in less than two minutes; You simply wrap and snap the straps around the handlebars. Despite my criticism, the way my daughter lit up when she saw her new basket made this a great purchase. I would take the same basket again.
