I slept like a dream in my truck on a recent camping trip. Holds air very well. What you need to understand is that initially the rubber should stretch quite a bit. Before our hike, I filled it to the brim at our house and left it overnight. In the morning it was a bit soft like it had lost air but it was just the rubber that had stretched. I filled it up and waited for the next night. This time it went a little further, but not that far. I added air again and let it sit overnight. The next morning he was still being taught how to drum. Then my wife and I slept on it during our hike, fully inflated, and it was as firm as it gets in the morning. Really too hard for her liking so we let some air out the next night, we both slept like babies. Highly recommended.
