Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ OXO Brew Adjustable Temperature Kettle: Perfectly Clear, Electric and Versatile by Salvador Taisacan

Electric kettle to get

come back but this one teapot finally got me to stop to search. My criteria for a kettle are very simple: no plastic touching the water, temperature control, and the ability to see the water level. There are many kettles on Revain that meet these criteria, but I ended up returning them due to various factors such as poor build quality, weird smell, rust, inaccurate temperature, etc. This kettle meets all my criteria and almost perfect almost cue. I can't give five stars as there are a few inconveniences and five stars are given to products that do an excellent job. This rating is based on my use of this kettle after a day of heavy use and testing. If something changes, e.g. B. temperature readings are no longer accurate, glass breaks, it stops boiling, etc. I will update this review. But so far I am delighted with this product and happy to have finally found an acceptable kettle. Anyway, here are the pros and cons, with a detailed explanation for each: Pros: - Excellent build quality - Stylish design - Easy to use - Precise temperature - Quiet - Keep warm function Cons: - Small hole - Edge closer to the top - No insulation - Difficult to see water level ---------------------- ------------------------------------ - --- ---------------------------------------------- - --- ---------- ----------------ProsSuperb build quality As soon as I took this kettle out of the box I felt how much better it is build quality compared to the ones I returned. Of course, given that this kettle costs $100, that's pretty close to the upper limit of what I'd be willing to pay for a kettle, but the extra $30 to $50 over similar products with poor build quality is worth spilling Boiling water is one of the last things you want. Slim design. Pretty understandable. Both the kettle and the stand look great. Easy to use The knob turns the kettle on and off and can be turned to adjust the temperature. For other kettles, press the button multiple times to increase the temperature in 5-10 increments or choose from preselected temperatures. With this kettle you can select the desired temperature without unnecessary buttons. In addition, it saves the set temperature even after switching off completely. I always turn my kettles off when I'm not using them and it's handy that it remembers 190, for example, and I don't have to turn the knob at all if I want that temperature back. Precise Temperature This kettle not only lets you choose the exact temperature you want to boil water to, it actually heats it to that temperature within a very tight tolerance. I've compared the displayed temperature to the thermometer readings several times and they've never differed by more than two degrees. While I won't notice a difference of less than five degrees, other kettles I've tested are +/- 10 degrees off my chosen temperature. Quiet This one heats water just as quickly as other kettles I've tried, with a lot less noise. I can hardly hear. Luckily it beeps once when the water heats up. Keep warm function The keep warm function of this kettle is activated after the water has only cooled down by one to two degrees. With other kettles I've waited for the temperature to drop by up to 10 degrees before heating it up again. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------ Cons: Small hole, making it difficult to put hand into kettle to clean. I have a very small wrist and I can't turn my hand in a teapot. I have to wipe one side, get my hand out and then wipe the other side. As a result, I wouldn't heat anything in it except water. The edge is closer to the top. The lip on the inside up makes it almost impossible for the last drops of water to squeeze out when pouring. Not so hot what's up; I usually leave the lid open when not in use and it evaporates. There is no isolation. That's a minus, but I've yet to see a glass-walled kettle that has an insulated side to protect you when there's hot water in it, so it's not. has no influence on the rating. Water levels difficult to see. The water levels are lightly printed in very small type next to the handle so I have to zoom in to see them. I'm just picky here, but ah.

Pros
  • Non-slip comfort handle provides a secure grip and stays cool and the lid opens slowly to control steam release and prevent hot water from splashing
Cons
  • Annoying
