The only downside to this item was the adapter that came with it to connect the radio to the RG6 cable which needs to be purchased separately to connect to the antenna. The socket pin was almost too small for the RG6 wire and I had to use force to insert it. After everything was connected, I adjusted the antenna for the best signal strength. I then stripped the RG6 cable from the adapter to route the cable for the final install, the center pin came out about 3 quarters. When I reconnected, I had no reception. Disconnect the RG6 cable and make sure it didn't press the pin. I had to physically push the pin back in and then plug in the RG6 cable. Luckily the pin made contact and everything works fine. Recommend if the adapter is difficult to connect to the RG6 cable, do not disconnect it after connecting.
