I was looking for a wide angle lens for shooting video (mostly). I chose this lens because of the price and the good image stabilization. I use this with my Sony A6500 and hardly ever need a tripod or stabilizer, a killer combination. As for using 10mm, I find it unsuitable. The image is noticeably fisheye, the edges are blurred and discoloration is beginning to show (see first image for blurred edges and discoloration). I usually settle for 14-18mm when taking photos. I tried using this lens for landscape photography but found it lacked sharpness. That's why I use 50 Prime. Aside from these small details, I like this lens. It's good enough for me and does the job. I will keep using it until I can improve it or it breaks. All images are displayed as taken.
