Well executed solution, almost perfect

It's not perfect, but close. If you're looking to add a second screen to the side of your laptop screen, this is a pretty good solution. Of course, you can get one of those external monitors that stand on a stand and don't attach to your laptop for a lot less money, but believe me, mounting it to your laptop is way better. It's just better positioned than using an extra screen separate from your laptop. And it's more convenient to have it right there without putting a second monitor on a table next to it or anything like a second screen. Processing quality is ok. It's made of plastic to keep it as light as possible and feels a bit cheap, but it does the job. The base features four "nano-suction cups" that attach to the laptop's lid and should allow for easy monitor removal without leaving a sticky residue. Haven't tried uninstalling it yet, but will report when I do. You center the screen on the laptop's lid, and then the entire monitor can slide left or right along its base (depending on how you mount it), and then after you've pulled out far enough, you can rotate the other end of the monitor closer to you. and stays in place. It's well designed and works well on my 15.6-inch laptop, although the Duex only has a 12.5-inch screen. (Choose the larger 13.3" version if you can afford it and your laptop screen is larger than 14", you'll be even happier.) This monitor has excellent image quality at a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. When connected to my USB-C port on my Asus ZenBook Duo, it can get quite bright when I adjust the brightness through the OSD. All you need is a USB-C connector (in this case, no additional power supply is required). By the way, about the on-screen menu. The Lite version version I received failed to display the menu right side up when installed on the left side of your laptop. I contacted support and they said the software update that allows menu scrolling is not on my device and they will send me an update that doesn't have this issue. Outstanding service! Also, if you're mounting on the left, you'll need to go to "Windows Display Settings" and under "Scale and Layout" change the display orientation to "Landscape (inverted)" or your image will be upside down. You should also drag the monitor to the desired position relative to your laptop monitor (left or right). All in all it's a great solution and I'm very happy with it. Five stars for product and customer service!
