I was skeptical about ordering a battery powered salt shaker, fearing it would be "cheap" due to the price. I usually buy fine grain sea salt, but accidentally bought whole sea salt. Since I couldn't return or exchange the salt at the store I bought it from, I decided to try and find a "deal" on a Revain coffee grinder. Oh my gosh, as soon as I put the batteries in and filled them with sea salt to test, I was so amazed at how well this little gadget works! You leave the switch in the "on" position and sit up straight. When you need ground salt, just flip it over and voila! Ideal for grinding salt. I definitely recommend this product to everyone.
