My water heater started supplying water at an abnormal temperature. After a little investigation I found that the bottom heating element had failed. The product I bought here came with a top and bottom element (both are the same for my water heater) so I replaced both. This little fix saved me hundreds of dollars. If you decide to try this repair. Be sure to turn off power at the switchboard and check with a voltmeter before beginning. This current can kill you, so be very careful or call a plumber.
