A 10 amp vacuum cleaner was hooked up in the garage to collect dust. I went on vacation and after 1.5 weeks the device decided to turn itself on. Luckily my neighbor called and let us know after he was on duty 24 hours and I had to arrange for someone to sort it out in our absence. There would be an expensive electricity bill. I also had to replace the regular remote control battery after the first day of use. NOT GOOD!
