Review on πŸ”’ Unleashing Remarkable Protection: Guard Dog Security Quality Monitor by Nathan Jones

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad monitor but my other one is much better.

I like to keep my house clean! That is hard. It's a complicated process to get his statement. My other stays on 24/7 and cycles through the readings. Get a full report in just a few seconds as you walk by. With that, I have to reload half the time before I can read anything. I ordered this air monitor as a backup and confirmation for my first air monitor. (Professional Temtop M10 PM2.5 HCHO TVOC AQI Air Quality Monitor) I was concerned that the display would keep alarming just because I was cooking something in the kitchen. This one also goes into alarm mode when I'm cooking. I have yet to figure out how cooking steak and broccoli causes air quality, specifically formaldehyde (HCHO), to reach the toxic zone. Chicken and asparagus both go into alarm mode. Basically, the air quality alarm goes off when I cook. I don't even eat processed foods. It is confusing. This one says it measures HCHO levels, but all I've seen are PM levels. I have read the instructions several times. According to the printed instructions, this device reads PM, temperature and humidity. Period. An air quality monitor has shown me that I am on the right track to keep the air in my home clean. This shows me that my filters are working and working well. It also showed me the need to keep boxes out of my house. Cardboard immediately puts the temtop monitor into poison mode. The cardboard adhesive contains high levels of formaldehyde. If I only had an air quality monitor, it wouldn't be this one. It's complex and doesn't measure air quality as well as a temtop monitor. Still, it's a decent backup monitor.
