This lamp is beautiful and looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. Very good value for money. Some users notice the brightness. I bought two of these, one for the hallway and the other for the kitchen. There is enough light for the hall but not enough for the kitchen. So it really depends on the space you want to use. Although each plug is rated for up to a 60W bulb, the width of the space between the glass and the back (top) of the fixture means you cannot use a regular sized bulb. I had to buy candelabra shaped bulbs (but with a wider base to fit a plug). 60 watts was too bright for the hallway, so I used 40 watts there, but 60 watts wasn't enough for the kitchen. So if you are short on space this is a really great lamp that is really beautiful and looks very expensive. But it won't work well for a larger room unless you prefer dim light.
