Review on Silver SKS-Germany P35 Chromoplastic Longboard Bike Fenderset by Justin Heynoski

The product itself is well designed and I can see it working as I would like when installed perfectly. However, their installation is extremely difficult due to the requirements of their installation. They are not easy to adapt to missing attachment points on the frame. The bike MUST have threaded mounting points on the front fork and axle, rear chainstays and axle, and seat tube. The attachment point on the fenders for the axle (where the brake calipers mount) is also twice as thick as the rest of the fender, which can cause clearance issues. The install kit includes shims to allow the chainstays to pass over the disc brake caliper, but they are not very effective. A bit of flexing might be possible, but it's best to hope that everything lines up properly, as the position of the feathers on the wing cannot be changed. They were for a 2007 specialized Allez Sport that I converted to commute. It's not worth the amount of modification and custom parts fabrication required to install it. I don't recommend buying these unless your bike is overloaded with mounting points and doesn't have good tire clearance.
