I received this with the matching bag. It has a divine weight and learning curve that makes me think it's going to last a decent amount of time. The outside is a leather-like holographic material with a scale structure. It is not too sharp, pleasant to the touch. The magnet holding it closed requires enough force to open so you know your shades are NOT going to fly out easily. Inside is impeccable. No stains on either the glossy black plastic shell or the mirror! Best of all, when you open it up to this immaculate interior space, you'll realize that they've provided you with metal shelves of various sizes and shapes for the shades! On the outside, it's just over 7 inches wide, 4 inches long, and about half an inch thick. The mirror and tray inside are the same size: just under 6 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches high.
