This was a very simple solution to how we were able to install our Regalo gate without damaging our new staircase. It is not recommended to use airtight gates at the top of the stairs, but we think this is normal for our child and their lack of interest in gates. I know some kids pushing and running at the gate so use your judgement. We installed this gate in our last home without these extras and the gate scratched the wall and we couldn't latch it securely. small and visually appealing. Functional because they're small, they work in a lot more situations than if they needed a large, flat surface.
