This sharpener is not only adorable but also has the following features that I like. Three sharpness settings: I call them extremely sharp, sharp and not so sharp. At the pressure I use when writing, an extremely sharp setting will break the lead, but the sharpness setting is enough to create a fine line. Auto Stop: The motor will stop automatically once the pen has reached the set sharpness. This saves you from losing the length of the pencil when sharpening. The point of a sharpened pencil is much sharper than the points of a regular sharpener, so the shaved (tapered) part of the pencil is longer/thinner. This makes the pen feel colder and weirder, at least in my opinion. Note that the suction cups lose their grip over time (at least on my plywood table), so I just press them down before sharpening.
