Using these struts, our team found that they were difficult to install and didn't provide much lift support for the tailgate. The instructions were inadequate, and we had to spend extra time figuring out how to attach them. On the positive side they were relatively inexpensive compared to other options on the market .Overall, we do not recommend these STRUTS for anyone looking for reliable lift support for their tailgate..
