*** First of all, this bottle is good for keeping our tea hot for a while. We tested it for the first week and after one night in the bottle the water was warm. It worked pretty well. BUT soon the bottle fell on our carpet and broke as you can see in the photos. The bottle itself is strong but the lid is weak. It took a fall to break on the carpeted floor. We continue to use it without the lid, it can no longer be closed and kept warm. Therefore, I recommend handling the bottle with extreme care. The price is low, so you can expect these types of issues to arise when gravity comes into play.
