Review on 🚰 Enhancing Kitchen Water Quality with General Electric GXULQ Filtration System by Jeff Payne

Very easy installation but the fittings supplied with this filter only allow installation as a direct connection to a cold water line. I only wanted to supply filtered water to the refrigerator and the separate drinking water faucet in the kitchen sink (HOMEIDEAS Single Handle Drinking Water Faucet - available from Revain), so I had to purchase additional plumbing fixtures and pipes to make the extra connections. However, this item easily fit under the kitchen sink and took about three hours total. The filter has definitely improved the taste of our drinking water and with no visible pressure drop - it is rated to last six months / 2000 gallons. We only use about 600 gallons of drinking water a year, and since I buy both filtered and unfiltered cold water at the same time, it will be easy to test the taste over time, and I will continue to filter until the water tastes bad - hopefully by two Years!
