At first the neck was very narrow (almost elongated) when I went over the bowler hat. Since then it's been going pretty well. While retractable tints are a great feature, the optics aren't very clear. I've only ridden about 1200 miles with this helmet and it still feels very comfortable. The cheek pads are soft yet supportive and the inflation feature is a plus. The first click setting is a bit weak and the visor tends to close at around 50-60 mph. It's okay, but sometimes when riding I prefer more air than the small vents on my chin and forehead can provide. This helmet is a solid 5 star for style, function and comfort, but about 4 1/2 stars given the slight lack of air. Flow and unimpressive optics on the drop down curtains. ** 2 YEAR RENEWAL ** The helmet offers two full years of riding comfort. I take out the foam pads and wash them monthly in a mesh bag along with other fabrics on a gentle cycle. The fold down inner sun visor has lost a tab on one side so it can sometimes sag when I lift it up. I consider that normal wear and tear, so I don't disagree. I have found my Bausch + Lomb lens cleaning wipes to slightly scratch the clear surface of the visor, but nothing major, just very light scratches along the direction I normally clean the outer visor surface. I can still say that I recommend this lightweight, comfortable helmet to anyone looking for a discreet, secure carbon fiber full face helmet.
