Review on πŸ–€ Black Officemate Adjustable Three Hole Punch - 11 Sheet Capacity (90095) by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great deal for the price

I recently ordered a hole punch and received it over the weekend. I had a small die-cut project (less than 100 pages) using plain paper, no plastic or laminated sheets. Here are the pros and cons I found: Pros1. The hammer drill is robust and surprisingly heavy. I was expecting a cheap model but it seems well made, especially for the price. Definitely a BIG PLUS.2. Can easily handle up to 10 pages. I've counted pages several times with no problems, but that required more pressure on the pen and I didn't want to risk breaking it. The recommended number of pages is 10 or 11 pages.3. The grip does not require much effort. Just click on the middle part and voila!4. The waste compartment is located under the base plate and is easy to empty. Just remove the bottom plastic shell and put it back. Disadvantages 1. No paper guidance/alignment. The print handle is attached to the bottom with a bracket, so I only used that bracket to align the paper. Then the holes were constantly in the same place.2. The upper punch is slightly offset. The hole you cut out is closer to the edge of the paper than the bottom two holes. I tried pushing the paper deeper but the top hole is still open. I still don't understand if it's adjustable. There were no instructions with the drill. The offset is negligible and I can live with that. I bought it for personal use in my home office so I can live with it. I used a hole punch in the settings and didn't need to tweak it. I can't provide any feedback on this feature. I hope this helps someone decide if this item is worth buying. So far I have not regretted the purchase.
