We bought it for a beach vacation. The baby is 6 months old but I have a size 9 mtha because it is a bit big. It can fit for 12 months, but that fit has to be tight. I like the material of the board shorts. I find they dry out very quickly. And the colors are nice and bright, which I like. I washed them in cold water and gentle drying mode before use. The fabric ripped a bit after washing, but nothing serious. Excellent quality!
