Review on Morakniv Kansbol: Premium Sandvik Stainless Steel Fixed Blade Knife for Ultimate Performance by Mike Marks

Quality control questionable. My durable Mora charcoal arrived sharp, the workmanship is clean and it just looks really nice. Kansball costs twice as much and comes unsharpened, the processing of the matte part is uneven, and the blade surface is scratched right out of the box. Scratches on the surface are ok because I'm going to use a knife and it'll get scratched anyway, but I want the surface to be cleaner. You can see the blade is designed for Scandi style sharpening but for some reason they tried to micro bevel my blade. I say try because they only managed to round up. My edge is literally round. He could not penetrate paper at all. The handle is comfortable, the knife itself looks cool and I'm sure it will be a useful knife once I completely repurpose the blade. However, the state it arrived in is unfortunate and not at all what I expected from Mora.
