I wanted to use these over my bed instead of incandescent bulbs. I really liked the night light function. I wanted to use my home automation system so that when I tell Alexa it's time for bed, these night lights would turn on and turn off 10 minutes later. It works fine for me, but note that the night light color is very yellow. Too yellow for my taste. In my opinion it is not easy on the eyes. In addition, like most dimmable LED lamps, they do not dim linearly. They are off and then go to the minimum light level and then dim to 100%. These lights are brighter than we'd like at the lowest settings. If that's not a problem for you then this is definitely a good product and you shouldn't have any problems. You should also be aware that they are very poorly packaged from the factory. Pretty much thrown in a box with a little bubble wrap and the box is so light. My set arrived in a badly damaged box but the bulbs appeared to be in good condition, at least the two I tried before deciding to return them.
