Bought to replace my PS4 hard drive, actually to replace a Seagate hybrid till that went down for 3 months! For as long as I can remember, Western Digital has always had a solid reputation and I personally have never had a single issue with their products. Your rides just last longer, and hopefully this ride will too. It's not even a hybrid or an SSD, but fear not - it's lightning fast for PS4 use. In fact, games load just as fast as Seagate (which is actually built for games, ha!), which should have been noticeably faster. I can't talk about other applications for this disc, for example in a laptop, but at least in the Playstation area, this WD seems solid. That was my easiest exchange. Make sure you have the latest PS4 update on your USB stick, install WD, insert your USB stick, turn on the system, follow the instructions, DONE! Seriously, it's that simple. Using the same steps, getting Seagate to work with PS4 was a nightmare. Crash after crash until it finally worked - no bullshit with WD. to work with PS4.
