Very quick and easy to use to save family memories.

Update; I've scanned over 4,000 35mm slides and it has worked great for my purposes. Absolutely not, but I think it will be something that most people can use. Easy setup, easy to use. My slides are 50 to 20 years old. While the white balance may be on some high contrast ones like clouds and the like, it's usually an easy fix on the Mac's preview page. Make sure you dust your slides well. I have attached another photo that I scanned without cleaning. .This will be one of the logs on the stone foundation. Thanks for reading. I've only had this scanner for about two hours and have scanned over 330 slides. Scanning slides was the only reason I looked for film for a digital scanner. All of my slides are from the mid 70's and late 80's. Mostly these are outdoor shots or family photos. Lots of sheds, cabins, dogs and the like. I highly recommend this scanner if you are looking for something to capture family memories from your parents or grandparents slides. I read many reviews before buying this scanner and even bought a more expensive scanner which I returned because it was too complex for my purposes and the software kept crashing. Wolverine lasted about 2 minutes. adjust and for more min. I scanned the slides. I just scanned a few first and then transferred the map to my computer to see what happened. I was very happy with the results so I proceeded with the 300 plus scan I did tonight. Sometimes I don't get the right color and the color correction on the scanner is not effective. Save this for your computer. As for me, I would say I will not retouch scans of more than 90% of what I have scanned. If you need scans for publication or very large prints, you need something better. If you ever want to blow one up, you can send it. Like I said, if you're looking for a simple, fast, and I think good way to save family memories, this is a great slide scanner. I'm attaching a few photos so you can judge for yourself. These are from the late 70's/early 80's.
