Used this to carefully cut grout between tiles I wanted to remove. It cut through about 4-5 feet of cement mortar before catching fire and sparks flying everywhere. I walked slowly. took frequent breaks. and splashed the bat with water all the time. I had to finish the job, so I switched to a diamond masonry bit for my angle grinder. He did the rest without wear and tear. This wafer-thin diamond disc can be useful for certain purposes. But for any work with tiles (including detailed work with tiles), it is enough to buy the right tool. $20-$25 will get you nowhere and leave you empty handed.
