Easy setup and very good overview! I chose the wireless camera because I didn't want to run a POE cable and the outlet was close by. I have to say that this is the fastest software installation I've ever done. Follow the instructions that came with the box to first connect the camera to your router with a network cable. I then installed CAM-HI on my phone which was connected to my Wi-Fi. When I added a camera from the CAM-HI app using "Local Network Camera Search" it was found immediately. I entered the default user and password and wow, access to the stream! I had old 16gb memory cards lying around and I used those and as the SV3C was shooting the recording I had no doubts about the size of the memory card, I also store the alarm recording on the FTP server which is why I bought this camera - FTP storage . If someone screwed up this camera, I still have records on the FTP server. The picture quality is excellent even at night. I only recommend this camera over other wifi cameras because of the FTP storage which doesn't tie me to another camera that offers cloud storage fees. I installed it in front facing the street as shown in my example. Update 10/07/2018: This camera still works great. For those concerned about security and don't want to use the default phone app, the alternative is to use Onvifer, but you'll need to know how to open ports on your router and do port forwarding. The Onvifer app will automatically scan these IP cameras and tell you what changes you need to make in the WAN settings to make these IP cameras accessible from your mobile phone.
