Although it says WiFi it also works fully wired (Ethernet) in addition to fully wireless (2.4GHz WiFi). This is a good option when Ethernet is nearby. You need to connect to your local network with a wired cable long enough to tell the camera which Wi-Fi to use, then you can turn it off and use Wi-Fi. I have bought five of these fantastic cameras. They are very easy to set up.1. Using a very small (eyeglass) screwdriver with a rubber grip, remove the 4 tiny screws surrounding the actual camera lens, as these screws are very tight and require a rubber grip to loosen.
