They damage heels by rubbing them while walking.
These are a bit big. And even with that being said, they hurt him if he wore them for long periods of time. The heel chafing was too severe. Although the color and durability are really nice! They work better with socks, but then they are not waterproof.

- They looked so cute but my son ended up with a blister under his ankle. I returned them.
