I've been looking for cold weather gloves for winter kayaking and finally found a winner. I have tried pogies and many neoprene gloves. Pogies are great for easy river walking if you don't expect rolling. However, if you roll the dice, the pogs will fill with water and get cold! Regular neoprene gloves are fine, but to stay warm they have to be quite thick, meaning you lose dexterity if they aren't articulated. You will get hand fatigue. I've also found that most of them slip a bit on the paddle shaft, forcing you to grip harder which causes more hand fatigue. But these guys are amazing! They're quite thick so you lose some feeling, but they're completely waterproof so my hands stay very warm even in water below 45 degrees. They are also very tacky and well articulated so I'm not afraid of losing my grip on the paddle. The craziest thing is that they are half the size of famous brands neoprene gloves, amazing!
