We bought Sanwo 2ft x 1/2 inch locks to secure our Segway Ninebot ES4 scooters. The ES4 can easily be mounted on a bike rack, lamppost/tree or street sign. Sometimes both ES4s can be secured with the same lock. If you plan to secure the ES4, be sure to get a lock that is 2 feet (or less) long, because even if it's not attached to a post (or similar), the lock won't fit through the handlebars or wheels are removed. Sometimes we could lock two scooters with one lock. The two locks can be combined for more length if required. Now I hear some of you saying that ES4 scooter can be locked using iPhone app. Well, there are bugs in the app, and even when the app works properly, the scooter is light enough and compact enough to take with you - the controller is easy enough to swap out. We bought a black padlock to match our ES4s so the bright color doesn't stand out too much. The lock is easy to attach to the handlebars and the plastic coating prevents scratches on the scooter. The cable lock is flexible and easier to use than the U-locks often used for bicycle locks. The seller did a great job with the information and the product. We received the goods within a day.
