My ANDIS blade broke a tooth because I was careless in cleaning my gear, it didn't really matter as it was on the edge and the teeth are fine so it didn't affect the cut but I was fed up, to try to adapt and force "almost zero gap" on this blade. Because the Andis blade is the same size as the OEM blade, you cannot achieve true zero clearance. I saw this and decided to give it a try as the price was good. Thickness and width is not a problem, they will fit in your osters as they are similar in size. The important part is the height which allows for a zero gap blade as you can see in the photos. The blade is the perfect height, ignore the reviews that say it's loose or cuts skin when fed quickly, this is due to user error. If it's loose or won't stay in place, you may have lost the blade guide when disassembling the clipper. If it cuts into the skin, you did not adjust the top blade properly when screwing it in, the blade is probably crooked and the ceramic blade is protruding beyond the scabbard. Just look on YouTube if you need help adjusting the gap. I use a small, palm-sized, flat piece of glass to hold the blades flush when tightening the screws. You can also use your fingers when adjusting the blades. I only used this method since the glass surface was always with me in my kit. and since it's glass, I know it's always flat and won't warp. Anyway, I highly recommend this blade, just hope it lasts, I'm sure it will last as I take good care of my tools, but it's cheap so it won't be a big loss either be. This is a review of the Easter hair clipper. I haven't tried it on my other brands. So keep this in mind when purchasing, otherwise it may not fit.
