Review on Premium Natural Aquarium Sand: Nature's Ocean Aqua Terra Black Sand 5 lb Bag - Enhance Aquatic Environment by Jermale Bullion

I have just received the sand so I will soak it before use. On first contact with water, other reviewers have stated that it softens and floats to the surface of whatever it is in. Also, the sand turned out to be lumpy. There was what I thought was rock in there before I realized it was just hardened sand that needed breaking. You should always make sure to flush/treat everything before it goes into your tank so I'll update this in a day or so after it's been working all along while it should have been usable. I give 4 stars because the packaging was bad. There was a hole in the bag, sand was scattered all over the box it was shipped in, the bags stuffed it in so it wouldn't spill everywhere, and my home when I took the bag out of the box. It was frustrating.
