Amazing monitor in my review.

I am very happy with this purchase. I bought this with the intention of using the built in KVM to easily switch between my work laptop and home computer and it really hits the mark. The size of the monitor makes coding and working with multiple documents much easier. This makes my work much more productive. You can use software like DisplayFusion to split the screen into different virtual monitors. Once you've done that, it will be much easier for you to move windows around and place them where you want with ease. Other reviewers have mentioned that KVM is poorly documented and difficult to set up. This is an understatement. I don't even know how I managed to finally get everything working so my keyboard and mouse are in sync with the right display. You just have to keep playing and playing around until you finally get it right. Port labels and what goes where are really terrible when they are almost non-existent. However, once you've finally managed to get everything you need, it really works. The monitor itself is beautiful and will really change the way I work. KVM, once it works, is a nice bonus and makes it very easy to switch between work and personal computers. Update after weeks of use: Upon disconnecting and reconnecting my laptop to the monitor, I found that my KVM configuration was lost and I had to overcome previous hurdles to match the correct video input with the correct USB input (for mouse and keyboard). couple . Setting up KVM is really painful. I have decided to downgrade my previous rating to 4 stars. For anyone who isn't tech savvy or doesn't enjoy tinkering, I wouldn't recommend this monitor unless you're planning on just connecting to a computer. The monitor itself is great and really fun to work with, but the KVM switch makes you wonder who dreamed up this nightmare.
