Go for a 2011 Mazda 3 Low

Great! The only way this could be improved would be if there was a way to open the dust cover and then snap it shut. Once installed, it is difficult to remove from the fender. PSA: If you are installing them on a 2nd generation Mazda 3 and they are lowered, install them on your shock and make sure your shocks don't stop. My car is lowered on H&R sport springs with Konis and when I did this setup I didn't buy a new kit like this so I had to put my old bumpers back on which had fallen apart and didn't think to check the clearance when I put them at the known. H&R (like most manufacturers) has a spec sheet for these springs, and the Mazda 3 didn't have to cut the OEM bumpers. I had to cut (bottom up) to the top of the 3rd bumper to have enough regular travel, but not to the bottom. I did this while still on the car and the longest part was cutting out the lid to fit the larger rings. If you don't want that, check out FatCat Motorsports or Ground Control fenders. I have GCs on my front and they work fine. The KYB kit is temporary until I order new GC rear shocks/stops.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
