One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

I bought this unit in December, since then I have never regretted it. Chose a long time among all brands. There were bad rumors about HP that low-quality laptops heat up quickly, a large percentage of defects and in general they are not durable. So I watched with caution. But as soon as I saw their HP Specter model in gold in the store, I immediately fell in love. But that laptop was 13 inches and much more expensive. As a result, I settled on ENVY, it is not inferior in design, it is also almost identical in characteristics, and the size is even larger, but their positioning is different (Specter is positioned as an elite business solution) and that’s why the extra charge. I must admit right away that I didn’t have laptops before (Only PCs and tablets), so there’s nothing to compare with. Pros: 1. Design - the laptop is thin, beautiful, for the new logo I put 5+ 2. The case from metal - in comparison with plastic wins on all fronts. 3. The image is good, I would not say that it is straight clear, but nevertheless worthy. 4. The sound of Bang & Olufsen pleased, it plays loudly, clearly, does not "grunt", there is enough bass - I don't know how else to improve the sound in such a thin case. 5. The touchpad is responsive, before that I didn’t understand how people use it at all, but no! Got the hang of it from the very first use. 6. Touch screen - I don’t use it much so that I don’t wipe the screen from traces, so for show this function if only! 7. Backlit keys mmm - in the dark it comes to life, everything is beautiful! Minuses: 1. It is heavy, but this is a controversial minus, because what did you want from a 15-inch device completely made of metal (but it seems that you are holding a thing, not a dummy) 2. Old PSU - I don’t know if there are other options now, because I don't follow the market. 3. Screen backlight - this is really a minus, even at full when it is dim, it does not interfere with work, but I want more (my phone blinds me compared to a laptop) I didn’t write about the operating time, because I don’t know how long good laptops work on average. But when watching YouTube sits down it seems to me quickly.

Pros
  • Stylish design, the new HP logo looks cool compared to the old (ancient) one, original (only 4 stripes, but what is the result), quality of materials (completely made of metal), nice picture, good Bang & Olufsen sound, nice Touchpad, touch screen, key illumination.
Cons
  • A little heavy, old power supply, weak screen backlight.
