Review on πŸ₯„ OXO Good Grips Flat Whisk: Effortless Mixing and Versatile Whipping Tool by Justin Ritter

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Shockingly many great reviews for a below average flat whisk

First of all I have been generally very happy with the OXO products I have purchased over the years and this whisk does not live up to those experience at all. This flat whisk is by far the worst of the four flat whisks I looked for when looking for one to add to my kitchenware collection. It has the thinnest construction and design as the wire for the whisk is made of thinner wire and has a more curved shape throughout the length of the whisk. This curvature allows only a small portion of the whisk to touch the bottom of the pan compared to other whisks I've tried, and doesn't remove frosting from the pan as effectively by comparison, which is the whole guy. whisk. Also, the slight curvature requires you to hold it at a shallower angle to increase surface contact, which can accidentally burn the rim of a hot pan and prevent it from being used with a pot. I know it's just a whisk, but I can see its lightweight design easily broken or mangled in the kitchen utensil drawer and needing to be replaced.
