I have had many problems with loose threads on my large (1094 yd) spools of Gutermann thread. Smaller spools have a spot for thread to attach to the base. Not in big roles. These "saws" wound up on the big bobbins with no problem and now my yarn basket is fine. Saws also work with my Robson-Anton, Exquisite and Floriani embroidery threads. Buying 48 of these was a smart choice for me (and the price was cheaper). I have a lot of thread. The seller (Oh Deb) also got 5 stars!
