Okay I have the Y model with 21" rims, road bitumen etc. Don't get me wrong it's not as bad as it was when I got it she hadn't, but I still get spatter (see picture) from my 21" rims. Flaps should be slightly lower. Installation was very easy. Just set it a little lower. Another update: 100% confirmed. These flaps definitely don't work for my Model Y (can't comment on other Tesla models), you still get spatter and rock chips as I said if you get them to take the impact of rocks from the front wheel towards the tailgate eliminate up to 80% are eliminated. But you will still get rock chips on the back door. Look at the pictures I've attached. As you can see, the back door is still spattered by the front wheel. Not as bad as before, but still. To update. Added another image of Tesla OEMs that are much more flexible and lower. It should be much better to spray on rear doors. As mentioned earlier, I have a performance model y. I cannot speak for others. Skip them, especially for the y power model. You are useless. One more thing. They are not as flexible as OEM. So you run into something, it'll break on the way. Looks good but only 80% functional compared to OEM. Another update: Be sure to buy Tesla OEMs. Since I unpaved my side doors, absolutely zero pressure. In contrast, it reduced by 80%. .I hit the pavement and the flaps, which were flexible, didn't break.
