Review on Outset QS82 Flexible BBQ Skewers by Brittany Jones

I would like the flat/shank part to be thicker and shorter. I believe you can buy shorter ones for easy attachment, but the "thickness" of the bar is a design issue. I have found that even though the kebab is flat because the stem is so narrow, the kebab pieces still turn easily on the skewer when they are about half cooked and less firm, then these skewers become just as painful as regular skewers, what you thought you avoided by buying them. I would say if the stems on these skewers were twice as thick as they are now they would be perfect and the food would turn trying to flip the skewers but for now I'll look and buy some. more in the near future.
