Outset QS82 Flexible BBQ Skewers Review

I love these skewers! I saw them on a Food Network TV show and bought a set for the house. Holds meat and seafood securely and is less likely to slip. You can cook twice as much meat/vegetables at once. I recommend to everyone.

Me ordered three sets of these skewers and only two of them were heavy duty as described on the product page. The third set was made of much thinner metal and bent easily. I needed two gift sets and was unable to return all three to Revain due to time constraints. Instead, I bit the bullet and gifted two nicer, heavier sets and kept the thinner, cheaper set for myself. I would like the flat/shank part to be thicker and shorter. I believe you can buy shorter ones for easy attachment, but the "thickness" of the bar is a design issue. I have found that even though the kebab is flat because the stem is so narrow, the kebab pieces still turn easily on the skewer when they are about half cooked and less firm, then these skewers become just as painful as regular skewers, what you thought you avoided by buying them.
