Review on Keyless2Go Replacement: 4 Button Proximity Smart Key for Chevrolet HYQ4EA 13585728 by Sean Skinner

Fits my 2018 Chevy Volt. I first bought another version of this key from the same seller. This key does not fit in my car. I thought it was because it was a 3rd party part, but it is actually due to a difference in FCC key identifier. The FCC ID of my original car key is HYQ4EA while the FCC ID of the other version (although with more ratings so I buy them first) is HYQ4AA. So, before purchasing this replacement, you must open your original key fob and find its FCC ID (next to the battery). Make sure it matches the description of the sale. I don't think the year of the car is that important. This fob should work with any 2017+ Volt or Bolt as long as your original fob FCC ID is HYQ4EA.
