Good design suffers from poor quality control.

I received my first TV stand and the instructions started to check that all the materials are included. The packaging was in separate labeled compartments that lined up nicely with the build instructions, which would have been great except once all the little labeled sections were torn up, management would keep track of everything to try and check. Also, there wasn't an exact count when it came to a set of screws meant for mounting on the back of the TV, as it contained many screws for different sizes. For these reasons, I chose not to test and test everything before building. What is the probability that something is missing, right? Well it turns out that one key screw out of the four was required to secure the TV once it was mounted to the support legs. and suspended from a mounting rail properly attached to the main post by a pivot section. It was clear from the documentation that the manufacturer wanted you to contact them and not Revain about the issue, so you could presumably wait a few weeks for them to ship the missing part of the item, which Revain shipped the same day you buy. Against common sense, I tried calling the support number during the specified support hours. The phone rang for two full minutes before beeping and then hanging up. Tried several times with the same result. Ok back to Revain with replacement next day delivery ordered. As it turned out, this was the right approach. The recently delivered stand has arrived and I was hoping I could just take the correct part off of it and send it back as the new stand's main arm had scratches on the black. the paint on the metal bracket and some imperfections that looked like welded stripes on the painted side that the first one didn't have. Unfortunately after a full build I found that the first one had drilled holes for cable routing on the wrong side so I had to go back and after several hours of fumbling with everything to get a finished stand between two assembled orders I have decided not to try again for the third time. It's also worth noting that after attempting to assemble a new one from scratch, I noticed that this package was missing a few required screws/washers. This would indicate a more than one-off problem with everything needed included. In short, I was able to assemble a solid stand between two orders. The flaws are mostly hidden by the TV itself, and the glass back looks very nice. When the structure is complete, it appears solid. In my case I used it to hold a 55" TV which wasn't too heavy but I'm sure this stand could probably hold anything beyond the top 65" spec if needed. Can't say I'd recommend this due to the poor quality control of the finishing and packaging of these things, but if everything was right (in every box) it would be a great stand. They come with Revain. So if you have a Prime the shipping is fast and free and if there is a problem I think you can do what I did. It might be worth the price, but Revain has plenty of other stalls to buy, so before you add this to your cart, think twice.
