Various advantages: The huge mouse is quite comfortable. A good assembly with no creaking or blowback to speak of. It moves smoothly across the table, and its weight is barely perceptible. Really effective on glass dining table surfaces. A few drawbacks: I couldn't identify any major issues with it. Because of its size, it might not be suited for a lot of people.
