I am NOT getting paid for this review and am referring to the UASP DS02 Sata 3 model, 16TB HD support with TF/SD slots, 2x USB 3 slots and 2 slots 2.5" / 3.5". Ordered 10/2020. DO NOT BUY refurbished or used older models. Get the latest version of BE SAFE! I have several old clone/SATA external drive enclosures that have served me well for years. I needed something to do more, to be much faster, and after careful study, I took the risk. WITHOUT REGRETS! This block does everything I need. YES - you can use two hard drives at the same time and each will be assigned its own drive letter. You can easily transfer ALL files from your computer to either drive. The 2.5" drive fits easily into the bay and has a spring-loaded cover for larger 3.5" drives. This makes the device very beautiful and protects it from dust. The power supply is 3 amps and I use it to run 1 USB 3 memory stick with 2 Sata 3.5 inch drives and a TF card at the same time! You can also transfer ANY files from two hard drives to one USB drive and vice versa with just one click. However, YOU CANNOT transfer the file to the TF/SD card unless you remove the USB drive. After removing the USB drive, you have full access to the TF/SD card. This pup is very fast, but some times the file transfer seems slow. All HDD to HDD file transfers are very fast, but on very rare occasions HDD to USB 3 transfers will slow down. I copy most 2GB movies and it's very fast, but be aware that creating multiple copies to ANY USB drive will be much slower due to its design. All multiple copies on the USB stick, regardless of version, are scanned. If you only copy one file at a time, it's like warp speed. I use this to back up my movies and games to a 4TB 3.5" drive and USB 3 thumb drive and again it's lightning fast. The TF/SD memory card slots are just a bonus that makes this machine irreplaceable like the icing on the cake. The power supply is 3 amps and has more than enough juice to keep everything going. I have not tested "OLD" drives that may require more current, but in this case use a higher amperage power supply. It also comes with a thick USB 3.0 cable that is about 3 feet long and plugs into your computer. It comes with a good manual, small but still readable and very informative with color charts and troubleshooting. 1 year warranty. I had two 4TB hard drives and a USB drive that ran for many hours and the hard drives got a bit warm. They never get hot and this unit has enough headroom to keep those drives cool. Writes that everything"HOT REPLACEMENT". It's true, and it's true, but to be honest, it's a DUMB way of dealing with it. BE SMART - DO IT RIGHT - ALWAYS disconnect drives FIRST, then turn off the device with a simple on/off switch on the back TO SAVE PROPERLY and have NO chance of damaging your files or DAMAGE to damage
