I finally found a pair of headphones that I like. I just researched and bought.

Found! After numerous purchases and trials (bought and returned) I finally found the headphones I like. I've researched and bought almost every pair imaginable. Please note that I use this headset with the Astro Amp. I used it directly with my Xbox One controller and it works great, but I had an amp so it boosted the sound a lot. Sound quality is excellent, clean, good bass (not overwhelming), high and low frequency detail is excellent. I hear directional noises from front, back, left and right and footsteps. The quality is excellent, especially for the price. The wearing comfort is excellent. The microphone is good with good noise cancellation. Here are a few I bought and a few I returned last year. Sennheiser Game One (brought) the best mic, but I lost the tracks for FPS games. The Astro A50's wireless is (still) used with my Playstation 4, the batteries don't last long and need to be plugged into a constant power source to charge the headphones. The sound is good and pleasant. Astro A40 with mixer amp (still have it) was used for my Xbox. The sound is good and pleasant. Turtle Beach Stealth 700 (shit) loses signal and sound Turtle Beach Elite 800 wireless great sound fit and finish but mic is terrible my buddies asked if I had something in my mouth while talking. The excellent sound and clarity of Artics 3 does not include microphone monitoring. It was uncomfortable. Great Sound and Clarity Artics 7 doesn't have microphone monitoring, so I couldn't hear myself speaking even in game chat. Xbox version of HyperX Cloud Pro (I think it's the same as Cloud II). I liked it until I tried Alpha.
