A good all-purpose torch for defrosting pipes, but not a "pencil torch ". The flame is not focused.
Advertised as a soldering option but the flame is wide and not clear. It can solder two sheets of metal together, but lacks the focus to heat anything thicker than a few millimeters. It's cheap for a self-igniting burner. The flame is not adjustable and I have no idea what they mean when they say "expand 1.5". The head does not expand. It's fixed.
Pros
- Caution: Tilting the gas cylinder more than 60 degrees from its vertical position can cause the burner to catch fire. It is recommended to start work at room temperature with a disposable hand bottle and keep the torch as vertical as possible.
