Review on Estwing Strike Drilling Crack Hammer: Unleash Precision and Power for Flawless Drilling by Bill Howard

Very light work. Made in Taiwan, untested. The first tip was given after receipt. The Estwing logo on the grip is non-USA. The second clue is that it's not a solid rod, it's a glued head. But for the price, it's good for light applications. Also ordered an Estwing 3LB One Piece Shank which is significantly more expensive but was made in the USA and features a typical Estwing USA design. The solid sink is also available here at Revain at a great price and is suitable for heavier applications. I ended up buying one of each. Removed 2 stars for not disclosing the origin of mfg and taped it to the head of the hammer. Consider it a disposable item if abused due to the non-rigid shaft and head like other Estwing models.
