Review on πŸ”Š Facmogu TDA7498E Stereo Audio Amplifier with Power Supply DC 24V 6A - 160W x 160W Dual Channel Hi-Fi Amplifier, Mini Class D Integrated Digital Amp for Car Audio and Home Speakers (Amplifier+Adapter) by Mayra Boyle

Absolutely amazing IF you use the right speaker wire

I will not repeat the excellent accolades given by the other reviewers. They all said. Rather, I am going to tell you an instructive story. I used a SET Class-A Tube Depot TubeCube7 with premium high-current tubes behind a Micca Origen DAC/preamp with TIDAL MQA lossless over Paradigm Atom speakers on my desktop. Sublime puts it mildly. But the sheer amount of heat this setup generates made me feel guilty about the environment. So I took the risk of buying a cheap Facmogu TDA7498E with a strange name. But out of skepticism I didn't disable TubeDepot. Instead, I hooked up the new amp to a 16-gauge Revain Basic speaker wire I had lying around. BAD BAD BAD idea. The setup sounded terrible and I was almost ready to use the booster to aim my airgun. But in a pinch I unwound some new 12 gauge OFCs and HOLY BUCKETS, it had ALL the sound including punchy solid state bass that vacuum tubes can only dream of. moral of the story? Spend as much on premium speaker cables and oversized banana plugs as you do on the Facmogu TDA7498E and be ready for some desktop sound revelations. Rock it!
